  • We are excited that you are considering joining our school community.

By choosing a Montessori education for their children, families make an important commitment to their child's future.  At Austin Montessori School, your child will be given the opportunity, through their own work to develop independence, self-motivation, self-awareness, a lifelong sense of curiosity, and a love of learning.  In other words, your child will be developing the skills to be engaged and successful in all facets of her life.

To provide an educational environment conducive to these optimal outcomes, both parents and the school enter into a meaningful partnership, with each of us having important roles.  Open and honest communication is essential to this process.  Additionally, you are asked to become familiar with the Montessori principles and approach so that you may support these in your home and family environment.  Browsing our website is the first step in determining if we may be a good fit to partner with you.

Please take your time to review the information on what a Montessori education offers and our different programs for children aged 16 months through to 15 years of age. Browse through the areas on parent partnership that includes our partnership agreement and the various opportunities we offer for parent engagement through events and parenting workshops. Enjoy the information we have shared on incorporating the Montessori philosophy into your home. Explore the possibilities for giving in our community not only through financial stewardship but also volunteering at our fall festival, outdoor environment days, and Grandparents' Day. Finally, if what you have seen on our website resonates with you, submit an inquiry form and connect with our admissions team.

Again, thank you for your interest in Austin Montessori School.

    Sincerely,
    Grae Baker
