Breakfast with Nadine Gardener, Dir. of Elementary Programs

8:30 - 10 am, Great Northern Campus
Nadine will be joined by a special guest, an Elementary Guide, and they will share a story that introduces children to the Responsibilities end of the Freedom AND Responsibilities structure of Montessori Elementary. They will discuss the three pillars and practices that help children develop their self-direction and self-awareness on the basis of freedom and responsibility. At this Breakfast, you'll gain insight into the questions, Yes...but how does it work? And what do you do when a child doesn't want to do something that they're supposed to do? How do they know what to do? Nadine and the Guide will dedicate time to an open dialogue about Montessori, the Elementary, and 6-12 year olds in development, so please bring your curiosities!
