The Austin Montessori School Experience: An Immersive Journey from Toddlerhood to Adolescence

 

Have you ever wished you could experience a Montessori classroom the way your child does? If so, please join us for The Austin Montessori School Experience: An Immersive Journey from Toddlerhood to Adolescence. Most of us did not attend Montessori school as children, and this program offers a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the Montessori classroom environment in the way our children do. 

 

On Saturday, January 24, participants will walk through the environments and explore with sight and sound.  Materials will be laid out as they would be during the children's work, and participants will notice which materials call out to them. With the absence of children, the classrooms are the focus, and the experience is of an authentic Montessori-prepared environment and how it engages the senses. After the silent walk through the environments, participants retrace their steps, and this time Guides will be on hand to give lessons. Participants will have the opportunity to work with the materials of their choice.

When: Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

 

Cost: $45 per person / $75 for a parent and second primary caregiver (co-parent, spouse, nanny, grandparent).  Coffee and bagels, and lunch on Saturday are included. Space is limited, so register today!
